These terms of purchase apply when you as a consumer (“Customer”) place an order via our webshop which is found on www.segem.se and its associated pages (the “Website”).
When you place an order on the Website you enter into an agreement with “Segem”.

2. Products
Segem offers the world’s most advanced electric scooters. The Segem Scooters are always connected using the mobile network.
This means that you can park it safely and be sure to be notified if someone unauthorized moves it while you are doing your errands. In order to use your scooter you will need to download the app My Segem. A user account will be automatically created when you purchase your scooter and a one year license fee to the My Segem software is included in the purchase price.
By purchasing a Segem scooter you thereby accept to be bound by our License Agreement as stated in our Terms of use.
3. Orders
All orders are made on our website. You must be over 18 years old to make a purchase. A valid purchase agreement is entered when you confirm your purchase at the checkout. An automated order confirmation will then be sent to the email address you have provided in connection with your order. If you wish to make any changes to your order this needs to be done prior to shipment from us. Once your order has been sent no changes will be accepted.
4. Price and payment terms
The prices on the Website are stated including VAT. Any shipping cost is indicated on the Website and also on the order confirmation, so that you can see the amount before submitting your order. The price stated for a product is that which applies when ordering, with the exception of obvious writing errors. Prices are subject to change at any time, but the changes do not affect orders for which you have already received an email confirmation.
Payment is made directly at the checkout, by bank transfer, invoice or credit card . Allowed cards for payment are VISA,Mastercard and American Express. When paying by card, state the card number, the card's validity period and the CVC code.
All transactions made are sent via SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and are encrypted, which provides very good payment security. For questions about security or payment methods, the Customer is welcome to contact Segem’s customer service.
5. Delivery and shipment
Delivery time is normally 2-5 working days, calculated from the day after you placed your order, provided we have the item in stock. However, any delivery dates which might be specified in the Order Confirmation, or in any other communication from Segem (whether orally or in writing) are estimates only.
The Products ordered will be delivered by our shipment partners to your home address on weekdays between 8 a.m and 5 p.m. If the parcel could not be delivered on the first attempt it will be returned to the terminal. The Customer will then be notified by SMS,e-mail or regular mail and can schedule a new delivery time. Additional costs may apply.
6. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer have a 14-day right of withdrawal. The withdrawal period applies from the day after you receive your product. If you buy software made available via digital download, you lose the right of withdrawal if you download (including via automatic download) the software during the 14-day period.
If you wish to invoke your right of withdrawal, you must notify us by contacting our customer service within the withdrawal period. You can also use the standard form to exercise your right of withdrawal, produced by the Swedish Consumer Agency (www.konsumentverket.se).
The product must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day you notified us of your decision to withdraw from the agreement. You bear the cost of return shipping. The product shall be returned in it’s original packaging including all original components.
Upon delivery to you, the transport is at our risk, ie we are responsible for any damage to the product between our warehouse and your address. You are responsible for this if you regret your purchase and return the product.
When you cancel your purchase, we will refund the amount you paid for the product, including any delivery costs. From the refund amount, we have the right to deduct an amount corresponding to the depreciation of the product from its original value if and to the extent that such a reduction in value is due to you handling the product to a greater extent than is necessary to determine its properties or features.
We will refund the amount as soon as possible and no later than 30 days from the date we received the product back.
7. Warranty
We offer a two (2)-year warranty on all our scooters.
The warranty only covers original manufacturing defects and not defects that occur in connection with or after a change in the product's function and appearance, e.g. remodeling, upgrading or other configuration of the product.
Your order confirmation is your proof of warranty.
8. Complaints
Should you discover that the product is broken or defect upon delivery, so-called unpacking defects, this must be reported to our customer service within 2 days of receiving the item.
If you discover other problems or defects in the product, which are not unpacking defects, these must be invoked within a reasonable time after the defect has been discovered or should have been discovered. You can complain about a defective item within 3 years of receiving the item, you will then lose the right to invoke the defect.
The product warranty only covers manufacturing defects that existed when you received the product. Original errors must be able to be presented to and confirmed by us. Depending on the situation, you can be offered a free repair, a new product or a reduction of the original price. No defect products shall be sent to Segem without our prior approval. In the first instance, pictures of the defect must be sent to our Customer Service. If it is necessary to return the product to our warehouse we will let you know.
The product warranty does not apply if we can not find the fault in the product, or if you have caused the damage yourself.
We will pay for the return cost when a complaint has been accepted.
9. Personal data
Segem processes your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy. We ask that you read the privacy policy carefully so that you understand how Segem uses and processes your personal data. By placing an order, you agree to this processing and confirm that the personal data you have provided is correct.
10. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any delay or failure to meet its obligations under this Agreement due to unforeseen circumstances or to causes beyond such party’s control, including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs or other industrial disputes, failure of a utility service or transport or telecommunications network, act of God, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction (including restrictions due to pandemics) accident, fire, flood, storm, other extreme weather conditions or default of suppliers or sub-contractors, provided that the Customer is notified of such an event and its expected duration.
In the event of any such delay, performance of the affected obligation shall be suspended for a period of time equal to the time of such delay save that in the event that the delay continues for more than two (2) months, Segem may elect to terminate this Agreement with immediate effect without incurring any liability.

12. Amendments and additions
Segem reserves the right to change these terms from time to time. The up-to-date terms are always published on our website.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Any dispute concerning the application or interpretation of these terms of purchase shall be finally settled by the Swedish general courts in accordance with Swedish law.
The dispute may also be resolved by the Swedish National Board of Consumer Disputes (Sw: Allmänna reklamationsnämnden) or by using the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
